Statement of Faith

Established October 21, 2004

 

            Rising Son Youth Ranch Inc. is an independent, fundamental organization, not affiliated with any denomination.  We are a faith based ministry, relying totally on the Lord for our support.

 

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
• We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, tangible return in power and glory.
• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and is only obtained by faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

Objectives

 

1. To minister emotional healing to at risk and handicapped children and young people with the intelligent and gentle spirit of horses.

 

• To show the Love of God to these children through compassionate understanding and consistent Christ-like Love.

 

• To teach Horsemanship Safety in a multi-level, progressive course.

 

• To provide the service free of charge on an individual basis for all who desire to come.

Mission Statement

 

“Our mission is to provide a means of emotional healing for children and youth, through horsemanship, love and compassion.”

     The tool we use is called Riding Therapy, where by, the child is given the opportunity to spend time with a horse, one on one, so the child can experience the unconditional love and understanding spirit of this very special creation of God and recognize God’s love. As the child develops a relationship with his/her horse, feels accepted and builds self esteem, they will be able to form stronger human relationships and function better in their world.

 

Biblical Principle:

 Mark 10:13-14, “People were bringing little children to Jesus to have Him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’”

I John 3:18, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”
